Our story is being told for over 70 years and has its origins in the family tradition of fishing and salt production. In the last decade, the Group led by businessman from Benguela, Adérito Areias has consolidated its leading position in both markets.

Founder and President of the AA Group, he was born in Benguela with an entrepreneurial spirit that made him one of Angola’s greatest entrepreneurs. He made a foray into the public sector before turning to the family business that earned him the nickname “King of Salt.”
Winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Sirius Awards 2018, he is a fighter and optimist, always thinks that the best is yet to come and believes in the growth of the Angolan economy.
